From January 6th to 10th, I participated in the Victorian Wheelchair Open in Australia. In the first round, I played against Australian Hayley Slocombe, winning 6-1, 6-1. In the second round, I played against fourth-seeded Angélica Bernal, winning 7-6(8), 6-4. In the quarterfinals, I defeated Yuma Takamuro 6-2, 6-2. Unfortunately, I lost in the semifinals to China’s Ziying Wang 6-1, 6-3.

In the doubles, I played with Mariska Venter. We won the first round 6-0, 6-1 against Sally Schwartz and Yuma Takamuro. In the semifinals, we played against Manami Tanaka and Zhenzhen Zhu. They were still a level too high for us, losing 6-1, 6-0.
